It’s a great opportunity to listen and learn! It could be in the car, at the gym or walking the dog. You can be feeding your brain while making dinner! Many people who are new to podcasts aren’t sure where to start. That’s ok! We all got started some way. Here is a great article you can review if you are beginner (trust me it will change your life!)

Marketing:
- 5 Minute Marketing: This helps break down marketing in quick digestible bites!
- Online Marketing Made Easy (Amy Porterfield): This is a great podcast for experienced marketers. She is real and talks about her mistakes! Also the resources to download are excellent.
- The Hubcast: As you may know we are BIG Hubspot users and fans. The Hubcast is by Marcus Sheriden (Sales Lion and often on the insurance speaking circuit!) He keeps us up to date on our main marketing tools!
Insurance:
- Agency Nation Radio: Agency Nation has on some top thought leaders in insurance! They bring in the best of the best!
- Agent’s Influence: Hosted by Jason Cass. Jason gets fired up by technology, trends and more. Take in Jason’s passion!
- The Agent Leader Podcast (with Brent Kelly): Brent is the leader in speaking about leadership in agencies. Always a burst of motivation and direction!
- Connected Insurance Podcast (Michael Jans): Michael curates top thought leaders in insurance to press the envelope in changing the way agents think!
- Spot On Insurance Podcast: Bringing together experts from around the nation to share their knowledge and discuss the latest industry trends.
Personal:
- 60 Minutes: I’ve always loved the show now I can listen to it even on airplanes!
- Oprah Super Soul Conversation: Oprah has the best conversations on life and how to be the best you. This is a podcast of her show!
- The GaryVee Audio Experience: Gary Vee takes a while to get used to but now Im addicted! He speaks from the heart, he’s real and very motivational. If you want to stay ahead, keep him front and center.
- The Tony Robbins Podcast: I’m a big Tony Robbins fan. So anything Tony I’m in for!
Leadership:
- Manager Tools: While this one can be dry from time to time, they role play difficult scenarios you may face as a leader
- Masters of Scale: This is a referral from Zach Gould from G&N Insurance Reid Hoffman started LinkedIn and is a venture capital investor in many startups. He interviews the top start up talent in Silicon Valley!
- The Profit First Podcast: We became Profit Firsters this year. Mike Michalowicz breaks down a simple way to handle finances in a new or existing business.
If you are a newbie take a few and get started listening. If you are a voracious podcaster hopefully you already have some of these handy!
