AppX Sales Success Story: Webb Insurance Agency

Randy Webb, Christie Webb and their dedicated team of experts have been providing insurance to families and businesses since Webb Insurance Agency was opened in 2012. As an independent insurance agency, they carefully select which carriers and policies best suit their clients’ needs. They strive to provide their clients with the best level of service, price and coverage. They are concentrated in the Grove area, but write and service policies for people throughout Oklahoma.

The main location of Webb Insurance is on East 13th Street in Grove, Oklahoma. They also have an office on East Highway 33 in Perkins, Oklahoma.

The team at Webb Insurance has a lot to be proud of. Using the AppX Sales system, they are providing excellent service while closing sales faster and with more confidence. Check out the amazing boost in written premium the Webb Insurance team achieved using sales procedures they learned from AppX Sales:

  • Before AppX Sales: January to June written premium was $439,405
  • After AppX Sales: July to December written premium was $581,837
  • That is an increase of $142,432!
  • From one six-month period to the next, the team increased sales by 32%!
  • Webb Insurance began 2020 with an astounding $120,000 in written premium for January when January, 2019 was $45,000!

Initial Responses: 

Many of the agents at Webb Insurance were apprehensive about having to start a new process and finding the time for it, but many were also excited to try something that may improve the prospects’ experience with the agency. 

How They Felt a Few Weeks Later:

The Webb Insurance team quickly began to see the positive results of using the AppX Sales process. They became more confident and were able to sell more efficiently. Every agent we surveyed reported that their closing ratio had improved!

What Was the Hardest Part?

Much of the difficulty the agents faced boiled down to overcoming the hurdles everyone deals with when trying to enact a change. While some did struggle with trying to incorporate the new sales practices into their day-to-day routines, by the end of the AppX Sales program they were into the swing of things and employing the new process like the ridiculously amazing agents they are! No one we surveyed wanted to go back to the way they used to do sales.

The most common piece of advice we received from the agents of Webb Insurance was, essentially, to just do it! Many of them were apprehensive about the program, but they found that staying the course and following the process even when it was difficult was very rewarding. The AppX Sales program does work if you stick with it! We also received a great piece of advice from Randy Webb about how important it is to be involved with the team and maintain a positive attitude.
