Celebrate Success in Your Insurance Agency
This week’s topic is absolutely critical to your agency: it’s building your agency’s roadmap to success. It’s part of our newest online course, where we focus on how to build an incredible plan for your agency. Today’s topic is all about celebration.
“We have to have celebrations. Otherwise, what are we doing it for? We’re just gonna keep cracking the whip and go for the next, you know, mountain to climb, which you will do, but you do deserve a break to celebrate too”
You might not think celebration is important, but it absolutely is. You need to celebrate success in your insurance agency. Here’s why, and how you should do it.
There will always be more
When you’re goal-focused and eager for success, it can be tough to spot the successes when you actually hit them. You might have hit a goal and not even realized it, because you’re so focused on a problem or something else that’s coming up. If you’re too focused on the next thing, you’re never going to notice your successes. There will always be more on the horizon.
You need to plan out celebrations
You need to have celebration built in, so you know when you hit your goals. We’ve seen agencies put an incentive plan in place, then forget to send it out, which leaves everyone feeling dejected. You need to create markers for success, so everyone can celebrate.
Put them on the calendar ahead of time
If you don’t plan out your celebrations, things can get hectic. Fires will keep happening, crazy things will pop up. But you need to still celebrate the wins and the good stuff. We like to map out our celebrations all year long, so when we hit milestones, we know exactly what’s going to happen.
We can’t always be looking for the next mountain to climb, and keep cracking the whip without any breaks. Everyone deserves a chance to celebrate the wins, so you need to find ways to celebrate success in your insurance agency.
