Many agency owners fear how change may impact their team. In many conversations I have had, the agency owner thinks employee longevity is a great thing. Which it can be, but not always. What I have found is that your worst employees tend to be the most loyal. They know that in a more competitive, metrically driven environment they may not survive. However, as an owner you can’t stay the same just because you fear employees may depart.
Team members are either working for you or against you. If you believe in a certain change or service standard it’s up to you to deliver it or find the team who will. Over 50% of agency staff are extremely loyal and they wouldn’t leave you for anything. Another 47% would only leave for a much better opportunity.
