Adding money to a paycheck is great but when you have to wait for the commissions to come in and then wait for payroll to get paid it can be a drag. Make sure you combine success with recognition. Having weekly sales meetings where people get to talk about their metrics and share their successes is one of the most motivating things you can do. The money comes after the motivation.
