Insurance sales fears, we all have them. If someone seems super confident in insurance sales, trust me, they still have fears on selling insurance or upsetting a client. The real fear of hearing no stems from: -Not wanting to upset the client -Being mainly in a role where you solve problems, and now you feel like you may have created one -Being unsure on what to say next -Feeling like you overstepped the relationship -Being rejected makes you perceive that no one else must want it either -You move out of your comfort zone only to get shot down Who wants to get involved in all that? Well, you do, since you are taking your insurance career seriously! The problem is, maybe no one has given you a plan on what to say, how to say it and what to do when you hear no (which really means you should ask a few more questions). Hearing no is part of a healthy sales process. In fact, you want to get to the first no as quickly as you can because most people are predisposed to saying no the first time.
