It’s the one thing you can change at no cost to you that will boost your business like nothing else, but it’s also useful when you have a team made up of all different generations.
Having clear and effective processes is good for when you are looking to build a bridge between the old ways and the new. Technology can be difficult to navigate, so it’s important to use processes to give your team a foundation to work from.
It also can help with reporting. You might be looking at activities and things and wondering why times vary so much. Think about it like this. Without a process, there might be 23 different ways every one goes about handling a task. How do you time 23 different routes from point A to point B and compare them?
You can’t. But when you have 2-3 routes that are clearly defined, it’s much easier (and much more honest) to track.
Another thing processes can do for your insurance agency, a great way to get team buy-in, is to use them to balance workloads.
When people work individually, it’s often no big deal—actually a good thing—but it too holds its challenges.
