Today I wanted to take some time to talk to you about the sales and marketing team working together and generating new business together.
At Agency Performance Partners, our team is very unique and spread across the region. We are constantly using our management systems, web conferencing, texts, phone calls, and basically any form of communication that we can to stay connected.
At our main “hub”, you can find Jarrod and myself sitting across from one another, rocking out to some music, and yet living in our own little worlds. You see, Jarrod handles database management for our clients and is our go to guy to engage with new/prospective clients. I, on the other hand, deal with the marketing, networking, and client projects – two different worlds that collide more often than you would expect.
Outside of our homebase spread across different states we have our SEO/design team, an executive assistant/accounting manager, and a fearless leader who is on the road delivering great content and helping agencies thrive across the nation. Things can get a little chaotic at times, but when all of these pieces come together we formulate one strong team generating leads and building new business opportunities.
With the help of our fearless leader, Kelly, we have been working on our own “smarketing” goals to build better cohesion between sales and marketing. This month, in particular, we have been hyper focused on aligning the marketing and sales goals to achieve a common goal.
